Password Protected Devices

Prior to any service, all password protections should be removed. if for any reason, this request cannot be completed, The passwords must be changed after service is completed. LW&W does not retain usernames or passwords.

Information Storage

LW&W will never copy any personal information, software, or files which are outside the scope of the customer's request. All backups of personal information, software or files that are made in the duration of the service request are destroyed before the customer's computer is returned to the customer. To protect both the customer's privacy and LW&W's legal responsibility, LW&W relies upon the customer to direct LW&W to the exact folder the customer wishes to be included in any backup.

Illegal Activity

It is LW&W 's legal responsibility to report illegal activity found within the customer's electronic property or brought to the knowledge of LW&W in the process of repairs and/or data backup within the scope of repair to the proper authorities. Example: Child pornography, photos of domestic abuse & rape, etc. We do not inspect a customer's property for illeagal activity, but will report if discovered.

Unauthorized Access

LW&W will only perform on devices that is legally owned by the customer. LW&W reserves the right to reject any service request for any reason and is not required to provide explanation at the time of refusal. If LW&W suspects a device is stolen property, it is LW&W's legal responsibility to report this suspicion to the appropriate authorites.

Cookies:

These are sets of information automatically gathered by your computer whenever you enter some websites. They record the areas of the site you visit and the length of time you spend viewing them. You can set your computer to let you know when a cookie is issued or you can choose to disable them (we currently do not use cookies).
